This one is the most crucial part of Facebook Ads; unfortunately, most people fail here as they don’t give enough time to research their audience.

The audience is the people to whom we want to show our ads.

Let’s do this step by step.

I assume you already have a Facebook Ad manager account; log in to the ad manager account and click on Ad manager if left menu. You can directly go to ad manager using this URL

Click on All tools, then Audience Insight.

Age: The screenshot suggests that people below 24 years of age are not very interested in plumbing topics.

Gender: As in the screenshot, both men and women are showing interest in the plumber topic; we will select both.

Location: Type Tampa then select Tampa, Florida

How to Setup Facebook Ad campaign for Plumbing Business

Before you think about sending Facebook Ads to your website, make sure you have your website’s speed optimized and loads faster on mobile devices and computers.

I suggest using a separate landing page for Facebook Ads, use analytics and Facebook Pixel to monitor performance.

Let me show you how to create Ad campaign step by step.

Login to your Facebook Ad Manager account, click on the green create button to create your campaign; now time to select an objective.

The objective is the purpose of running your Ad, whether you want to get likes on your post, more followers on your page, or visits on websites.

In our case, we will select the “Traffic” objective so we can send traffic to our plumbing website.

In the next step, create an Ad set and give it a name; this is where you will choose your audience ( people you want to show your ads).

In the audience section, input “Tampa,” then select Tampa, Florida, set radius +20mi, then age 24 to 65. Gender all then additional interest, “plumbing” and “plumber.” Under placement, select manual placements and uncheck all except Facebook. Now you can see almost 130000 potential reaches.
