Step 1: Log in to LinkedIn Recruiter

The first step to replying to candidates on LinkedIn Recruiter is to log in to your LinkedIn Recruiter account. If you don’t have a LinkedIn Recruiter account, you can sign up for one on the LinkedIn Recruiter website.

Step 2: Find the Candidate’s Profile

Once you’re logged in to LinkedIn Recruiter, you’ll need to find the candidate’s profile. You can do this by searching for their name or using the “Candidates” tab to browse through your list of candidates.

Step 3: Open the Candidate’s Profile

Once you’ve found the candidate’s profile, click on it to open it. This will allow you to view their resume and any other relevant information.

Step 4: Write Your Message

Now that you have the candidate’s profile open, you can write your message. To do this:

  • Click on the “Message” button on the right side of the screen.
  • Type your message in the “Compose Message” field. Be sure to be polite, professional, and informative in your message.
  • When you’re finished writing your message, click “Send” to send it to the candidate.

Step 5: Follow Up with the Candidate

If you don’t receive a response from the candidate within a few days, it’s a good idea to follow up with them. To do this:

  • Go back to the candidate’s profile in LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Click on the “Message” button again.
  • Type a follow-up message in the “Compose Message” field.
  • Click “Send” to send the follow-up message to the candidate.

Tips for Replying to Candidates on LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Be timely. It’s important to respond to candidates as soon as possible, as they may be considering other job opportunities as well.
  • Be professional. Always use a professional tone in your messages, and be sure to proofread before sending.
  • Be informative. Provide the candidate with as much information as possible, including details about the job, the next steps in the hiring process, and any questions you may have for them.
