Facebook Ads for Managed IT Service providers (MSP Facebook Ads)
There is doubt that Facebook Ads are perfect for promoting B2C businesses. But we can use it for B2B business promotion. Here, I am not talking about directly selling your services or lead generation; I am talking about promotion only and showing your ads to people who are more likely to buy MSP services.
Let me show you how to create a Facebook Ad campaign for MSP Business.
Before we deep dive into creating a campaign, make sure you have a Facebook page for your business.
First thing first, Audience Research.
Who is going to buy MSP services?. Small and medium-sized companies don’t want to indulge themselves in managing and maintaining computers and networks.
For example, Law firms, want to focus on their law practice instead of putting their head in networking.
Some other businesses which might purchase IT Services are bookkeeping firms, Tourism-related businesses, and many other similar businesses.
Now, we have an idea of what kind of businesses will buy and but we don’t want to show our ads to trainees or sales executives of those companies, we want to show our ads to people who take decisions. who are they? what are their job titles?
Most likely any of these
Owner, co-owner, founder, co-founder, VP/Vice President, director, managing director, CEO
and these people are over 21 years of age in most cases.
Ok, now we know our audience, let’s start our campaign.
Login to your Facebook Ads accounts and click on the campaign → create.
It will open something like this

Here our objective should be website traffic as we want visitors to send to our website where they can see our service offerings, testimonials, and other information. Another important purpose is to identify these people using Facebook Pixel so we can show these people our Ads repeatedly.
The next step is to create Ad Sets, set your daily budget at something between $10-$50/day in the beginning.
Input your location, any particular area, city, or state where you provide your services.
select age above 21
Gender All ( or you can set your preference here as you know your business better)
Choose Langauge
Now comes the very important part which will decide whether the campaign will be a success or failure.
In the detailed targeting section.
input small business owners and select Behaviour → Digital Activity → Small Business Owners
Narrow Down
and input “ Business Page Admins”
I have selected New York city in the location section for this blog purpose. In this screenshot, you can see potential reach 31000 and daily click 4–20.

Another important thing is placement, select Facebook only and uncheck all.
In the next step, select your Facebook page, under Ad Setup select “single image or video”.
In the Ad creative section, use an image or short videos. Fill headline, description, and primary text.
Select destination as website and input your website or landing page URL. Display link will be your website’s main domain name.
Call to action: Learn more or whichever is suitable with text and video content.
Now you can publish your ad, copy the same kind of multiple ads with different images and videos.
